Portland Patrol is looking to hire full-time, armed security officers to join one of Portland's premier private security companies. We are looking for team members that are humble and want to provide value to the team and the community we serve. 

As a PPI officer, our team members receive detailed training and provide the highest level of professionalism, the fastest response times, and a problem-solving approach to public safety concerns.

This is a great opportunity for somebody who has retired from or has experience in a career in law enforcement, or has been a military police officer and has a heart for serving in the public safety sector!

• As a member of our team, you will conduct armed foot or bicycle patrol, deter criminal activity, and provide customer service to our local businesses and citizens.
• We are a 24/7 company and offer day, swing, and graveyard shifts. Shifts are typically 8 hours.
• Not DPSST certified? No problem, we offer DPSST certification classes at our office for our team members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS LAW ENFORCEMENT OR MILITARY POLICE EXPERIENCE
• Completed a police academy or military police academy
• At least 21 years old
• Have earned a high school diploma or GED
• Eligible to be licensed by DPSST, the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (all training costs are covered by PPI)
• Able to pass a fingerprint background check and drug test (including marijuana)

COMPENSATION:

$25.92 - $29.91 per hour plus benefits and parking
