JOB SUMMARY:

A Customer Service Associate plays an important role in providing guests with an excellent food service experience. A Customer Service Associate must adhere to all company standards, be detail oriented, have in-depth knowledge of all price and menu items. Must be able to interact with guests, co-workers, and all levels of management in a safe, positive, professional, efficient manner.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ROLES AVAILABLE: SERVER, CASHIER, AND BUSSER/TABLE SERVER.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Report to work on time and as scheduled. Must be able to clock in & out correctly on a daily basis.

· Ability to work in fast paced, high volume environment, meeting customer demands in a safe, accurate and timely manner. Must be able to multi-task.

· Provide excellent customer service at all times.

· Have in-depth menu knowledge and must be able to answer all guest questions with accuracy and tact.

· Have excellent communication and active listening skills.

· Consistently follow the established “Five Steps to Excellent Service”.

· Be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.

· Be a team-player, assisting co-workers whenever needed.

· Assist in other areas such as assembling orders, taking orders, etc.

· And other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Employees are regularly standing, walking, talking and hearing.

· Ability to lift, carry, transport, and/or serve items weighing up to 20-40 pounds for extended periods of time.

· Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time.

· Ability to reach with hands and arms bend, stoop, push, pull and twist.

· Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions for long periods of time AND

· Ability to work in various temperature environments throughout the shift, for example, going from an air-conditioned area inside the bakery to outside weather conditions.
