Job Advertisement Under general supervision generates revenues for the City of Portsmouth through monitoring taxes for automobiles, trucks, business and lease vehicles, boats, motorcycles, motor s, campers, utility and boat trailers. Applicant will also do a considerable amount of DMV transactions. Preference may be given to candidates with DMV experience. Work involves public contact with taxpayers, and will also require the knowledge of handling money. Reports directly to the Lead Deputy of the Personal Property Unit. Education & Experience: Graduation from high school and 1-2 years of experience in clerical work, including bookkeeping duties; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
