Associate Psychologist/AMFT/ACSW/APCC Positive Change Counseling Center is hiring Associate clinicians for our Rancho Bernardo (North County SD) office. We are excited to open up this opportunity to Associates with a minimum of 1500 hours toward licensure in the state of CA. At Positive Change you will meet with individuals, couples, and families who are matched to your clinical specialties and expertise! We provide 1:1 and triadic clinical supervision so that you may see 10-20+ clients per week in our thriving private practice. Our talented, experienced, and cohesive team will help you continue to grow as a clinician in this private practice setting. Our amazing scheduling staff will help you reach your hours toward licensure at the pace you desire! We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing crisis intervention as needed, and following up with patients to ensure they are receiving appropriate ongoing care. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients as well as a current CA Associate Number. Higher compensation is available for Post-Doc Applicants. We also compensate for your non-clinical supervision time! Preferred Clinical Specialties: Couples Therapy, Children Adolescents, LGBTQ expertise. Training in evidence-based treatment is desired. Applicants with other areas of expertise will also be considered. Bilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: • Meet with individuals, couples, and/or families for outpatient psychotherapy. • Complete intake notes and document each session. We are strong believers in documenting for medical necessity...however, our documentation process is very brief in comparison to many programs where you may have previous experience. • Create client treatment plans and goals, update as needed. • Attend weekly clinical supervision while gaining hours, monthly case consultation groups, and quarterly all-staff meetings. Qualifications: • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • Must have 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting • Currently registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology as a Registered Associate Psychologist, AMFT, APCC or ACSW. Compensation: $30 - $40 hourly+bonuses
