Responsibilities: • Final approval and walkthrough of commercial or residential projects to ensure all water and wastewater infrastructure complies with MU standard specifications. • Independently manage and maintain the MU grease trap program. • Observe and report on internal projects for MU, City, and County • Review construction drawings to ensure compliance with Madison Utilities specifications. • Problem solving and independent research for short-term projects as required or assigned. • Assists in creating and maintaining a GIS map of utility infrastructure, including water mains, sewer mains, and other features. Qualifications: • BS in Civil Engineering or 6 to 8 years of construciton experience • Valid Drivers License • ADEM Water Grade 1 and Wastewater 1C within 12 months of employement • Good communication skills Compensation: $56,000 - $93,000
