    Inside Sales Engineer

    Northern Kentucky manufacturer of industrial, transit and utility electrical products has an opening for an energetic sales professional. Company employs approximately 110 people in a multi-shift, non-union environment. Products are semi-custom and custom made. The position reports to the Inside Sales Manager.

    This position is responsible for pre-sales support, quotations, order fulfillment and user support for power distribution components, control products and transit products.

    Minimum requirements are an Electrical Engineering degree (BSEE) and desire and/or experience in working directly with customers. A demonstrated knowledge and experience with electrical power systems and applicable codes and standards as well as at least two years electrical industry application experience is a plus.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Responsible for booking the required orders to meet the business plan for an assigned territory

    Demonstrate an awareness of the current orders and business situation at any time

    Answer incoming phone calls soliciting business or information from Post Glover.

    Responsible for following-up on open quotations, enquiries, email and phone calls.

    Responsible for following all orders through the engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure on time delivery to your customers

    Maximize order intake and profitability through pricing actions that match the competitive or market situation

    Provide technical and inside sales support of the Post Glover core product groups

    Provide technically competent and timely response to all non-standard product RFQ’s in your assigned territory

    Develop a relationship with the Post Glover sales representatives, consultants and OEM’s to drive responsiveness in the marketplace and use as a competitive advantage

    Possess an intimate knowledge of the marketplace and competition

    Education and Experience

    Electrical Engineering degree (BSEE)

    2 years or more of Electrical Industry Application experience preferred.

    Working knowledge or familiar with electrical components including transformers, switchgear, relays, PLC’s, and Variable Frequency Drives with the ability to read electrical schematics. (Preferred)

    Excellent communications skills, both oral and written are required for interacting with customers and product representatives to generate proposals and quotes in a clear and concise format.

    Experience with OEM and sales rep channels to market a plus

    Desire and/or experience in working directly with customers
