Job Description
We are on the search for a Post-Production Producer to join our team reporting to the Head of the Creative Studio. As a Post-Production Producer, you will be responsible for supporting scriptwriters, producers, video editors, finishers, and other team members in all aspects of our post-production studio.
Full-time temporary employment (W-2), 4 days/week onsite (NYC).
Oversees post-production process ensuring that all Creative Studio team members work together efficiently
Creates and maintains schedules for post-production tasks including, editing/file organization, finishing, etc.
Reviews the final output for quality, including checking for technical issues and ensuring creative consistency
Partners with team members to triangulate and resolve issues that arise during post-production, whether technical, creative, or logistical
Coordinates the workflow between editors and other post-production staff
Manages post-production schedules and ensure deadlines are met
Have a strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and delivery specifications, including; tracking of stock footage and stock music
Leads daily team meetings to align on deliverables
Other projects as assigned
Qualifications
2-3 years experience in a creative studio, post-production company, media company or design firm
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines
Must thrive in a self-directed and fast paced environment. Be proactive in anticipation of needs. Strong attention to detail
Undergraduate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

Compensation range: $30 - $35/hour. This represents the expected compensation range for this job requisition
