    Job Description

    The Post Support Tech will perform a variety of operational and technical functions in support of longform and short-form post production for domestic and international workflows. These services will encompass enterprise-wide marketing supply chain, process-building, documentation, workflow rollout, media prep, content ingest, delivery tasks, graphic support, finishing editing services as necessary, L1 support for all operational workflows and finishing workflows, media management for post and Avid storage-based workflows, as well as administrative functions for the Post Production Department.

    Provide L1 support for both remote and local editors, and Post Production staff

    Supports multiple products across the Marketing Supply Chain including VPost (a virtual cloud-based Post Production environment), Frame.io (review and approval platform) and Airtable (workflow automation and spreadsheet tool)

    • Support of MAM/DAM tools (Orange Logic)
    • Active development of workflow design in partnership with Post Management, Engineering and Workflow team
    • Automation workflow - profile building and application support
    • Onboarding to the VDI or virtual machine/cloud environment for Tech Ops and brand/client users
    • Work with Engineering to properly troubleshoot and escalate technical issues
    • Facilitate the finishing process supporting color-correction and audio mix
    • Machine Learning/AI and Cloud Post (remote edit/graphics) workflows
    • Media management support for Post workflows, as well as all enterprise brand marketing clients
    • Finishing renders for snipes, program, and promo graphics
    • Test and implement transcode workflows for upload to various delivery platforms
    • Archiving content
    • Client satisfaction
    • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
    • 2+ years of experience in post-production or knowledge of editing and post processes
    • 2+ years of experience working with Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop, 3D applications such as Cinema 4D, Maya and 3ds Max and Interplay Access and Media Central CloudUX
    • Ability to read audio/video scopes
    • Experienced knowledge of video/audio codecs, file formats, camera formats and resolutions
    • Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to work out of either our Stamford, CT or Denver, CO

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong Attention to detail and very organized
    • Familiarity with Frame.io and Airtable
    • Proactive. Self-starter
    • Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure
    • Ability and desire to learn new technology, trouble shoot issues, and train others
    • Excellent communications skills and ability to interface with multiple departments, clients and vendors
    • Experience with media management
    • Experience with working with MAM/DAM tools
    • Knowledge with digital media file types and codecs
    • Works independently while maintaining team culture

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
