DIGITAL MARKETING CONSULTANT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Compensation: $80,000 - $125,000 (including base salary of $60,000 + commission, first year on-target earnings)

THE ROLE

The Digital Marketing Consultant is responsible for identifying, creating, and working on new opportunities through the point of close. This role will manage and sell digital marketing services to new customers, as well as additional/recurring campaigns to current customers that are active or have eroded by identifying new opportunities, qualifying buying interest, and working with critical decision-makers through the sales process. From proven sales systems and sales training to lucrative compensation structures and career growth, the Digital Marketing Consultant at PCM Digital will be equipped with everything they will need to be successful. This is an in-house position, so you'll be able to work with an amazing group.

ABOUT PCM DIGITAL

PCM Digital is the digital marketing arm of PostcardMania, which itself is a full-service Direct Mail and multi-channel marketing agency based in Clearwater, Florida. Founded in 1998, PostcardMania’s results-driven marketing strategies enable B2B and B2C organizations to compete at the highest level regionally and nationally. PCM Digital specializes specifically in website design, SEO, PPC, and all things remarketing.

We specialize in 85 main verticals but service over 350 different industries nationwide.  

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AT PCM DIGITAL

• Quick daily meeting with our team to start the day
• Making 10-30 contacts per day via inbound traffic, internal passes and marketing generated inquiries.
• Creating effective follow-up strategy and executing on that strategy within your customer base
• Achieving and exceeding weekly/monthly performance metrics (appointments set, qualified leads worked, deals closed, etc)
• Educating yourself on your market and its nuances to gain business knowledge through research and intelligence gathering
• You will receive regular sales training and report to senior management who values investing in their people both personally and professionally. This will entail weekly 1-on-1 meetings, weekly sales team meetings, and monthly alignment meetings.
• Organize data, clean up pipeline, and produce weekly reporting
• Opportunity to be assigned a sales administrator to take non-revenue generating work off of your plate

• 1.5+ years of sales experience

• Knowledge of digital marketing practices, including a basic understanding of website design, PPC, and SEO.

• You are simultaneously able to follow a proven process while also being able to think “on the fly” and be nimble

• You are curious… this means you are never content with where you’re currently at because you always realize that there is more to learn and become

• Can demonstrate empathy towards potential customers and even be willing to walk away from a deal if the fit isn’t there

• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with high growth

• Highly organized

• Don’t need external motivation to get you up in the morning

• You are confident using a CRM, sales tools, etc.

• Team player
