The ideal candidate should be experienced in litigation and understand the litigation process in New Jersey. Experience with commercial litigation, contract drafting, and/or employment law is a plus. Responsibilities: • Monitor the progress of pre-litigation and litigation matters. • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents with precision and attention to detail. • Conduct depositions and other discovery processes efficiently. • Trial experience is a significant advantage, showcasing your ability to represent clients in court effectively. • Attend court proceedings, hearings, and mediations to advocate for our clients. • Meet with clients to understand their needs, provide legal counsel, and offer strategic advice. • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of New Jersey law and legal procedures. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admitted to the New Jersey Bar. • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in litigation, with a focus on commercial, contract, and employment law. • Strong drafting skills for pleadings and legal documents. • Deposition experience. • Trial experience is highly desirable. • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the judiciary. • In-depth knowledge of New Jersey law and legal procedures. • Knowledge of Insurance Defense, Consumer Fraud, or Business Litigation is a plus. • Excellent verbal and time management prowess. • Initiative and follow-through skills are a must. Compensation: $85,000 - $120,000 yearly
