    Opportunity

    Poudre Pet and Feed Supply seeks an Assistant Store Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in helping pets live happier, healthier lives. Poudre Pet and Feed Supply is the best place in Northern Colorado for pet supplies because of the people who work here. If you are ready to offer the gold-standard in customer service and expert advice for even the toughest pet problems, join us.

    Success in this role will require effective communication skills, innovative thinking, and a passion for pets. Through training, you will become a knowledgeable expert when it comes to pet nutrition and care.

    Pay starts at $18.00 per hour!

    What You'll Do

    Focus on customers first! We truly do believe that they deserve the best and that's what we strive for.

    Lead, develop and coach a team of hourly clerks to build successful relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

    Implement changes to the store to best achieve our mission and goals.

    Act as a point of de-escalation with customers and be driven to ensure customer issues are addressed immediately.

    Train Team Members to safely and accurately perform tasks to predetermined standards.

    Based on operational plans and company standards, assign Team Members to job tasks in order to maximize customer service & reach retail goals.

    Provide feedback to employees and then provide on-the-job training to meet training needs.

    Create a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees in the store to provide feedback and drive change within the store, adapt to the ever-changing business, and stay focused on the customer experience.

    Consistently meet the standards of excellence that have been set by the company and expected by the customer.

    Model accountability, creativity, resourcefulness, energy, passion, leadership, integrity, honesty, and team building.

    What You'll Need

    Love for furry or feathered creatures

    A passion for helping people

    Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly

    Weekend availability is a must

    Full-time availability

    No uncontrollable allergies, such as hay or animals

    Fantastic communication skills
