Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coat Painter to join a manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal products using powder coating techniques. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with powder coat systems and understand the full coating process from preparation through curing.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply powder coating to metal parts using spray equipment
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and properly prepping materials prior to coating
• Set up and operate powder coating spray guns and related equipment
• Operate and monitor baking/curing ovens to ensure proper finish and durability
• Inspect coated parts to ensure quality and proper coverage
• Maintain powder coating equipment and keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety and operational procedures

Requirements

• 2–3 years of powder coat painting experience required
• Strong knowledge of powder coating systems and processes
• Experience operating baking/curing ovens
• Ability to properly prep, clean, and prepare materials for coating
• Experience setting up and using powder coating spray guns
• Understanding of powder coat application techniques and quality standards
• Powder coating experience required (wet painting experience alone is not sufficient)
