JOB DESCRIPTION
To avoid safety incidents, learn and follow all safety regulations and practices
To maintain consistent production, learn and follow all manufacturing policies and practices.
Ensure product quality by adhering to normal work/process instructions and recognizing any potential product quality concerns.
Relays, meters, switches, and other electrical components are installed.
Anchoring, tie-wrapping, routing, flagging, and wire marking are all examples of wiring.
Crimping
Stripping of wires and cables
Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment.
Lifting up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 40 lbs. sometimes
On occasion, standing on ladder for 6-8 hours per day
Perform work in a semi-enclosed location on occasion.
Work overhead for long periods of time on a regular basis.
Will be asked, directed, or assigned to complete other tasks as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or GED is required, as well as one year of related manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A basic mastery of the English language, both written and spoken, is required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:
The ability to execute simple math calculations
Knowledge of how to read a tape measure
The ability to interpret a variety of printed materials, including specification sheets, wiring diagrams, schematics, three-line drawings, wiring lists, and part drawings.
Basic mechanical understanding
Ability to work with air, hand, and electric tools
