🔹 Job Description

AHCCCS (Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System) is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer / Business Analyst to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level dashboards and reports. This role supports healthcare and Medicaid reporting and requires strong technical BI skills along with the ability to translate business needs into data-driven insights.

🔹 Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports

Create data models, DAX measures, KPIs, and visualizations

Perform data transformation and cleansing using Power Query

Translate business and reporting requirements into BI solutions

Optimize report performance and manage datasets in Power BI Service

Ensure BI governance, data security, and reporting best practices

Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams

🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)

Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling (star schema), and Power Query

Solid experience with SQL and relational databases

Understanding of UX/UI principles and data storytelling

Knowledge of BI concepts (ETL, governance, reporting lifecycle)

Bachelor’s degree required

Must be local to Arizona (current location must be listed on resume)

Must be available for in-person interview and quick start

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare or Medicaid domain experience (claims, eligibility, encounters)

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse

Power Automate and Power Apps integration

Agile/Scrum environment experience

Python or R experience (nice to have)
