Proficiency with EDA tools for schematic capture and layout instruction development.
Expertise in power electronics analysis (thermal, transient, EMI/EMC, derating).
Experience preparing and executing customer-facing design reviews.
Ability to support supply chain, manufacturing, and test organizations in design release.
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
Familiarity with radiation effects on power electronics and mitigation techniques.
Knowledge of space-grade standards (e.g., MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, IPC-2221, NASA/ECSS requirements).
Experience with fault tolerance, redundancy, and high-reliability design practices.
Hands-on experience with lab testing of power hardware (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal chambers, etc.)

About Jemba9
Jemba9 is accelerating what’s next in Space by partnering with non-space companies that have advanced, attractive technologies and “Spacifying” them by adapting the designs to be space-worthy, creating product assurance artifacts and controlling production and test. In parallel, we are building tools to improve efficiency throughout the product development and production lifecycle. We are looking for engineers that want to develop spacecraft hardware and also contribute to innovative engineering tools development (and as a startup, jump in and help wherever necessary to make the company successful!).
