    Currently we are seeking a candidate to join our Sales Team as a National Generator Service Sales Representative.

    SUMMARY

    The National Sales Representative is responsible for establishing service contracts with new and existing national companies. The existing customers this position will be responsible for include six to eight of our largest, most critical accounts. There are two key customer segments that this position will have responsibility.

    1. Existing customers – a) maintaining/growing existing portfolios b) leveraging current relationships to expand our business in new business verticals and/or additional geographic regions not currently serviced

    2. New customers/opportunities. The position requires excellent communication skills, tenacity and follow through to establish and grow relationships with decision makers within large facility management firms and other national companies who have a need for our generator service, maintenance and installation services.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Is the main Point of Contact for six to eight large existing customers and the portfolios within each.
    • Maintain and grow relationships with customers by communicating extensively over the phone, via email and in person.
    • Work independently, with internal Account Managers to identify, bid, and close opportunities in additional geographic markets within the existing customer portfolios.
    • Work independently, with internal Account Managers to identify, bid, and close opportunities in new business verticals within the existing customer base.
    • Collaborate regularly with colleagues and Account Management team to ensure all SLAs are being met and that customer satisfaction is high.
    • Continually build and develop a network with facility managers, sub-contractors and vendors to establish new opportunities.
    • Resolve disputes, respond to inquiries, investigate complaints, and alert team members to the existence of any issues pertaining to the account, and see the issue to resolution.
    • Adhere to Power Plus safety and quality standards

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

    This job does not involve supervising the work of others.

    COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in critical infrastructure environment.
    • Experienced in selling a “service” (vs. a commodity) nationally, and preferably selling service contracts within the generator or critical infrastructure or power environment.
    • Has a track record of
    • Prior ability to identify prospects and follow up on leads to close new opportunities.
    • Strong oral and written communication abilities, and the ability to grown and maintain relationships.
    • An affinity for developing strong professional networks.
    • Cross-functional collaboration with inside sales, account managers, vendors, and facility managers.
    • Prospecting and lead generation using various sources, including social media.
    • Proficiency in using MS office suite and CRM tools to manage workload.
    • Ability to multitask within job duties
    • Ability to travel across the country up to 25%.
    • If hired, must be able to verify eligibility to work in the United States and pass a pre-employment drug test.

    Competitive compensation package consisting of salary based on experience plus commission.
