  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Analyst who will play a pivotal role in administering long-term energy procurement agreements and monitoring their performance. The Analyst will work on issues related to electricity procured from renewable sources. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of project development, energy markets, and contract administration for renewable energy and battery storage projects that are built and integrated into the CAISO grid.

    You will gain hands-on experience with power purchase agreements (PPAs), understanding their critical terms and impact on project execution, while developing deep knowledge of renewable energy technologies, buyer-seller dynamics, and the full lifecycle of clean power projects—from contract execution to grid participation.

    The Power Purchase Agreement Analyst will:

    \- Maintain, organize, and update contract data including pricing, volumes, milestones, and performance benchmarks, ensuring accuracy and consistency

    \- Prepare reports to inform team decision-making and regulatory compliance

    \- Support the development of renewable and storage projects by tracking development milestones and deliverables

    \- Attend meetings with project developers to documenting outcomes and carry-out necessary follow-ups

    \- Assist with project due diligence, contract review, and coordination action items related to project milestones

    - Provide support for contract drafting, review and documentation

    \- Assist with the data migration and implementation of a new Contract Management System CCMS)

    \- Partner with legal, compliance, and procurement teams to ensure contract lifecycle processes are efficient and complete.

    \- Track project performance and milestones

    \- Track and report on Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

    This requires:

    • 2+ years of relevant experience combined with a Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience working in energy procurement, contract management, or project coordination; experience in renewable energy is preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and familiarity with data tools or contract management systems such as Ironclad, Salesforce , SharePoint or others
    • Strong analytical and communication skills
    • Proactive, detail oriented and highly organized

    $110,000 per year
