Power Washing Professional - Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Power Washing Professional to join our growing team at Rolling Suds Power Washing, a family-owned exterior cleaning franchise serving Fort Worth and Arlington commercial and residential properties. As we head into our second season, we're building a team of reliable contractors to deliver excellent service and complete jobs to the highest standards.

About the Work

Most jobs involve:

Pressure washing homes, driveways, roofs, apartment communities, condominiums, shopping centers, sidewalks, parking garages, parking lots, commercial properties, and more

Window cleaning using water-fed extension pole/brush systems

Application of commercial cleaning chemicals and soft wash solutions

Operating commercial-grade equipment (surface cleaners, pressure wands, hoses, pumps, gas/diesel engines)

Working from ladders and occasionally getting onto roofs

Pay Structure

$18/hour starting rate (1099 independent contractor)

Performance-based increase opportunity: Prove yourself as a dependable, quality worker and you can move into percentage-based pay on jobs, which can earn you significantly more money.

Scheduling - Please Read Carefully

This is on-call, as-needed work. We cannot guarantee hours.

We call contractors based on our schedule and weather conditions. Some weeks may be very busy, others slower. If you're available when we call, great. If not, no problem.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Lead Technician to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and professionally

Follow proper pressure washing procedures using our proprietary washing equipment

Keep truck and shop organized and clean

Fill water tanks and fuel tanks on truck

Take proper precautions when using chemicals such as bleach and other commercial cleaning solutions

Take before and after photos and video content of jobs for documentation and social media

Represent Rolling Suds professionally and interact with customers in a courteous, friendly manner

Work with a team to complete jobs in a timely manner

Abide by cleaning procedures checklists

Qualifications

Experience

Pressure washing experience is preferred but not required

Window cleaning experience is a HUGE PLUS

Physical Requirements

Ability to climb ladders and walk on roofs with confidence

Ability to perform general labor and carry/lift up to 50 lbs

Willingness to work outdoors and get wet, and dirty in hot Texas summers

Transportation & Driving - CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

YOU MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD

This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. You will be driving our 16' Isuzu work truck and you must be eligible to be added to our commercial insurance policy. A motor vehicle record (MVR) check and driver's license verification will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

Required driving qualifications:

Valid, current driver's license (not suspended or revoked)

Clean driving record that meets our insurance requirements

No DWI/DUI convictions within the past 7 years

Minimal moving violations

Safe driving history with no major at-fault accidents in recent years

Ability to be added to our commercial insurance policy at little to no additional cost

Additional Requirements

Reliable transportation to get to our shop

Ability to follow directions and work safely around equipment and chemicals

Willing to work as a 1099 independent contractor

Good communication skills

Ability to show up when you commit
