Job Description:

We are seeking a Mid-Senior PowerOn Symitar Developer to support and enhance our core banking system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing in PowerOn for Symitar, with a strong understanding of credit union operations and Symitar’s Episys system.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and maintain PowerOn programs to enhance Symitar Episys functionality.

• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and implement efficient solutions.

• Optimize existing PowerOn scripts for performance and usability.

• Work closely with Symitar administrators to support core banking operations.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues related to Symitar.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements in all custom development.

• Document technical processes, procedures, and system changes.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience developing with PowerOn for Symitar Episys.

• Strong understanding of credit union operations and banking workflows.

• Experience with RepGen, SymXchange, and Symitar batch processing.

• Proficiency in Jaspersoft, SQL, and scripting languages for report development.

• Ability to analyze and optimize Symitar processes for efficiency.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Symitar PowerFrame, SymConnect, and SymForm.

• Familiarity with core conversions, third-party integrations, and automation.

• Prior experience working in a credit union or banking environment.
