KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership and management of the security operations and enforce policies designed to mitigate risk, detect, and respond to possible vulnerabilities.
• Assess and oversee cybersecurity capabilities and operational effectiveness, addressing areas of risk and concern.
• Using your technical skills and cyber subject matter expertise, you will provide effective oversight, credible challenge, and expert advice to help manage and control risk associated with cyber operations.
• Enhance our information security operations and security monitoring protocols across our Saas products, application security, infrastructure security, QA and deployment processes.
• Establish and maintain requirements and ensure all teams adhere to security obligations
• Source and identify applications, third-party tools or other software to be leveraged, ensuring products, data and infrastructure are operating in accordance with our security controls.
• Develop and implement solutions to collect, transport, and process data securely to support risk-based decision making, working closely with DevOps, Engineering and R&D.
• Managing end-to-end penetration testing and analysis, working with engineers and other teams to implement mitigations and remediations.
• Develop a program that effectively identifies and mitigates internal and external threats to our employees, facilities, assets, and brand.
• Provide subject matter expertise and oversight for network and endpoint security, perimeter defense and overall platform security architecture.
• Draft assessments for senior management and other internal and external stakeholders.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in software development with an emphasis on application security, infrastructure security and information security
• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, alert management or enterprise security logging.
• Deep understanding of PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.
• Experience with cloud security architecture on AWS and/or Azure
• Experience with implementation of endpoint detection, monitoring and application control, specifically with mobile and remote device management.
• Experience as software developer or architect in large-scale, distributed software projects, preferably with cloud service providers (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
• Experience managing, consulting, or auditing in the fields of information security, risk management, compliance or technology audits.
