    Powur has hit a core need in the marketplace evidenced by over 1,000% sales growth in 2019. We are an investor-backed company with more than $60,000,000+ of solar installed, and over 3,300 active solar sales professionals. We are currently seeking a Operations Manager to manage Powur’s nationwide installation network, deliver the best possible customer experience, and develop a robust network of suppliers, installers, and additional services Powur will need to thrive as the leading nationwide residential solar company. 

     

    The right Operations Manager is someone who has experience managing solar installation businesses, understands the ins and outs of quality service, construction, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. In addition, the right Operations/Construction Manager has the experience necessary to negotiate the best terms and prices possible across our supply chain, installation network, and corresponding services to support the business model. 

     

    The right Operations Manager is a detail oriented person, who’s also great at managing relationships, and making sure all parties of the solar ecosystem feel respected, heard, and valued. We are looking for a visionary operator who sees how to streamline and make more efficient and cost effective the entire solar value chain, and can scale the company to thousands of installs monthly, and nationwide.

    What You’ll Do: 

     

    • Manage the companies installation partners in key markets across the U.S to ensure quality service to end customers, and the ability to deliver installs to Powur per the standards and timelines we establish. 
    • Lead and manage a team of internal Project Coordinators to ensure project installations are on schedule and of the highest quality.
    • Develop detailed forecasting of Powur’s installation capacity by Partner, and by Market, so the company is always forecasted to have twice the installation capacity of our quarterly projected sales volume. 
    • Evaluate and onboard new installation partners to continue to grow the companies install network and capacity of A-Player installation companies. 
    • Ensure the end-to-end customer journey and project management process are happening on appropriate timescales and with the level of quality, speed, and service we expect to be a number one rated brand in solar. 
    • Work with Powur executive team to manage and expand the companies’ contracting licenses (with RMOs and/or Qualifying Agents as needed) and maintain compliance in key markets. 
    • Oversee the management and business development of Powur’s installers, equipment suppliers, distributors, and service companies required to operate competitively and deliver top notch service. 
    • Contribute and oversee necessary legal operations and agreements across the companies partner network and contracts. Including when needed, overseeing the appropriate action to collect or hold accountable parties who have violated contractual terms. 
    • Focus on developing Systems and metrics/KPI reporting through business intelligence platforms that allow the company to continue to scale without bottlenecks, breakdowns of service, or a loss of quality. 
    • Collaborate in a cross-functional teamwork environment with various departments such as Sales, Accounting, Customer Success, Legal, etc.

     

     

    Additional Desired Traits & Attributes:

     

    • REQUIRED: 5+ years of executive leadership experience with a small to medium sized SOLAR company.
    • This position is FULLY remote so the ability to be highly successful in a virtual/remote corporate environment is essential.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and highly organized.

    • Experience with productivity software e.g. MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and/or GSuite.
    • Experience with CRM or project management systems such as Zoho, MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Hubspot, Podio, etc.
    • Experience with Business Intelligence software such as Tableau or Power BI, etc. 
    • Experience operating a solar company. 
    • 5+ years of executive leadership experience with a small to medium sized company is required.
    • Four year college degree in a related field is required, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

     

     

    Operations/Construction Manager Key Performance Metrics:

     

    1. Installation capacity by installers to exceed 2x forecasted sales volume for the quarter
    2. Time from contract to install average less than 60 days
    3. Customer NPS and Installer NPS to exceed 9 out of 10.
