This hybrid role focuses on enhancing legal service delivery through smart workflows, legal tech, and process improvements—starting with the high-impact Restructuring Department. Ideal for a forward-thinking attorney eager to shape the future of practice efficiency in a top-tier law firm environment.

    Responsibilities for Practice Innovation Attorney (Litigation):

    • Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to attorneys in the Restructuring and other practice groups to assess needs and identify opportunities for innovation.
    • Design and implement solutions to enhance practice efficiency, including workflows, process improvements, and legal technology integrations.
    • Collaborate with K&I attorneys, Practice Managers, technologists, and assistants to build and deliver innovative tools and knowledge resources.
    • Evaluate and assess legal tech products (e.g., AI, automation, data analytics) for applicability and effectiveness in legal practice.
    • Drive awareness and adoption of K&I initiatives by piloting new products and championing innovative practices.
    • Provide training and guidance to attorneys on using legal tech tools and knowledge platforms.
    • Assist with precedent resource requests and knowledge maintenance.
    • Partner with Professional Development & Training on lawyer training initiatives.
    • Support additional K&I projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

    Requirements for Practice Innovation Attorney (Litigation):

    • Juris Doctor degree required; 5+ years of experience in Restructuring, Regulatory, or Litigation practice at a large law firm.
    • A passion for improving legal service delivery and a strong interest in legal technology and innovation.
    • Ability to serve as a liaison between attorneys and technical teams—translating practice needs into actionable solutions.
    • Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to lead initiatives from concept through implementation.
    • Highly organized, proactive, and team-oriented with a change-agent mindset.
    • Familiarity with emerging legal technologies and digital transformation trends in the legal industry.
