Practice Manager (Part-Time)
Primary Care Office – Bushwick, Brooklyn
Position Overview
A growing primary care office in Bushwick, Brooklyn is seeking a Part-Time Practice Manager to support daily operations, staff oversight, and clinical workflow.
This role is best suited for a hands-on, structured, and accountable professional who can maintain order, reinforce expectations, and ensure the office runs efficiently during patient care hours.
Schedule & Compensation
Part-Time: 8 hours per week
Schedule: Wednesdays and Thursdays (4 hours each day)
Compensation: $25/hour

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Oversight
- Oversee daily clinical and administrative workflow
- Ensure adherence to office policies and procedures
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies
- Develop and manage provider and staff schedules (daily and weekly)
- Oversee patient scheduling, ensuring appointments are structured, time-appropriate, and aligned with operational capacity
- Maintain clear and organized schedule presentation to support team coordination and accountability
- Ensure scheduling decisions support both patient experience and operational efficiency
Staff Supervision & Training
- Provide direct oversight to Medical Assistants and support staff
- Train and reinforce proper clinical workflows, including phlebotomy
- Monitor staff performance and correct inefficiencies in real time
- Maintain a structured, professional, and accountable work environment
Clinical Support
- Perform and demonstrate phlebotomy as needed
- Support clinical operations during patient flow when necessary
Compliance & Standards
- Enforce HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Maintain professional boundaries across all staff and external interactions
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in medical practice management or supervisory role (required)
- Certified or experienced Medical Assistant (required)
- Phlebotomy experience (required)
- Ability to train staff in phlebotomy and clinical workflow
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
- Highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented
- Professional, direct, and able to maintain clear boundaries
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking strongly preferred)
- Experience in primary care or outpatient settings
- Experience working in a growing or developing practice
