  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Manage daily operations including patient scheduling and registration, medical records, data entry, cash posting, daily bank deposits, office maintenance, and computer systems.
    • Supervise and develop medical office personnel to ensure maximum efficiency, including staff selection, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management in collaboration with HR.
    • Ensure the practice delivers exceptional patient service, including timely resolution of patient concerns and service recovery.
    • Collaborate with the RVP and Practice Partners to implement strategic initiatives and support practice growth.
    • Manage, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
    • Oversee compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
    • Provide administrative support to physicians and clinical staff as needed.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including patient volume, financial performance, and operational efficiency.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that promotes staff engagement and professional development.
    • Enforce office policies and procedures to maintain operational excellence.
    • Perform other related duties as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or related field preferred.
    • 3–5 years of experience in medical office management, preferably in dermatology or a specialty practice.
    • Experience with medical software systems and demonstrated knowledge of proper coding (ICD-10) and medical billing processes.
    • Proven experience building office culture and cross-functional teams to enhance patient experience and practice growth.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Thorough knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant healthcare regulations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical practice management software.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
    • Hands-on, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence

    Job Type:

    • Full time
    • Pay starting at $60,000/year
