B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field, and 0-3 years post-degree experience.

Desire to work in the residential, commercial, and mixed-use industries.

Knowledge of basic materials design - wood, concrete, masonry, and steel.

Good technical writing skills in letters, reports, etc.

Good organization and communication skills via verbal conversations, emails, instant messages.

Experience with and knowledge of other engineering software – Excel, RISA, AutoCAD C3D, Enercalc, Bluebeam, Revit, Forte and others.

Experience with building design - equivalent lateral force procedure, vertical & lateral design, detailing of connections, hardware.

Experience with communicating with contractors, architects, and other project team members.

Knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling techniques and interprets the results of those models.
