Job Description

Position Summary: Support users with IT needs and projects. Work with various teams to design changes/enhancements to the QAD ERP system. Support users with the QAD ERP solution. Work with all supervision and employees to ensure that cGMPs and Praxis' SOPs, policies and work instructions are being followed. Maintain policies and quality standards on the production floor and in the warehouse. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Create detail designed based on customer, site, or department requirements for items related to the QAD system. * Work on projects related to QAD ERP system. * Project manage QAD projects. * Assist with troubleshooting issues with QAD and work with the QAD support team to have issues resolved in a timely manor. * Coordinate EDI setup and support with the QAD team. * Provide technical support to Praxis employees. * Analyze and resolve computer and local network problems. * Monitor and maintain computer hardware, printers, network infrastructure and software. * Select replacement and repair parts for network computer and printing systems. * Adherence to all Company policies and procedures. * Works to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective, and preventive actions. * Provides assistance and answers questions with a diverse workforce. * Elevates complaints and problems, seeks Management assistance. * Ensures proper PPE's and Safety procedures are followed. * Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Praxis Packaging Solutions. Knowledge & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent required. * 3-5 years of IT experience, including 1-3 years of system analysis work required. * 1-3 years of technical support, preferred. * Strong technical knowledge of PC's Laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware device. * The ability to work independently, without supervision required. * Ability to organize priorities and workload required. Computer/Communication Skills: * Solid knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) related software required, QAD ERP system experience highly preferred. * Ability to comprehend and follow written English instruction and specifications, required. * Basic comprehension of the English language: reading and writing skills to understand and complete necessary paperwork, required.
