Pre-Admission Registered Nurse at Surgical Specialists at Princeton
The Pre-Admission has the responsibility for organizing and directing activities in accordance with nursing standards, JC, Medicare and all other applicable federal, state and local guidelines. The Pre-Admission may assume the following responsibilities: contact, by way of telephone, all patients prior to surgery to assess medical and medication history, review for appropriate lab, x-ray, EKG orders to determine where and when these procedures are to completed and provide preadmission teaching, responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients’ condition, providing patient safety comfort, and privacy at all times.
Qualifications
Pay Range: $43.00/hr - $48.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
