Full-Time LPN – Pre-Admission Testing (PAT)

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and experienced in perioperative or pre-admission care within a surgical setting.

Position Summary:

The LPN - PAT plays a vital role in preparing patients for their surgical experience by collecting medical history, reviewing medications, coordinating necessary testing, and educating patients on procedure expectations. This position requires effective communication with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow staff members to ensure safe, efficient surgical care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-operative interviews and assessments
• Review and verify patient medical records and lab results
• Ensure all necessary pre-admission testing is complete and documented
• Educate patients regarding their upcoming procedure, fasting instructions, medications, and post-operative care
• Communicate any patient concerns or red flags to appropriate clinical staff

Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in the state
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay range: $28-38/hr.
