    We are seeking a Pre-Construction Manager for commercial renewable energy projects in the Northeast utilities sector. This position oversees technical development from contract to readiness, ensuring designs are viable, compliant, and risk-mitigated through team coordination. It offers a key leadership role in a growing EPC firm, contributing to sustainable energy solutions for businesses while building departmental processes for efficiency and quality.

    • Anticipate $95,000 - $105,000 annual base salary

    Responsibilities:

    • Own project readiness from contract execution to NTP, leading estimating, procurement, site assessment, engineering, interconnection, and permitting.
    • Align sales assumptions with build realities; review and approve technical scopes, pricing, and engineering outputs for constructability.
    • Act as authority on utility strategies, code compliance, and risk mitigation; enforce quality in submissions.
    • Coordinate cross-functions to prevent issues; deliver build-ready handoffs to construction teams.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in civil/electrical engineering or related field preferred.
    • NABCEP certification (PVIP/ESIP) a plus.
    • 7+ years in commercial solar, power systems, or electrical infrastructure.
    • Demonstrated expertise in utility interconnection, PV design, and constructability validation.
    • Proven cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
    • Experience with NEC, IFC, fire codes, and EPC environments preferred.
