As we continue to grow, we are excited to welcome a pre-engineered building erector with 3 or more years of prior experience to our team. In this role, you’ll be essential in upholding and advancing our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities:
Interpret project plans, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements
Assemble metal components, including steel frames, columns, beams, and girders
Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting as required
Use cranes or direct hoisting equipment operators to lift and position structural steel members
Cut, bend, or weld steel parts using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment
Align structural steel members for permanent bolting
Install metal or metal-insulated panels on walls and roofs
Dismantle structures or equipment as needed
Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies
Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers safely
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing steel frames and structures
Keep the job site clean and organized
Qualifications:
Punctual with regular attendance for 8-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday
3+ years of experience with steel structures and metal building assembly
Proficient in operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers
Skilled in rigging and lifting materials
Ability to read and interpret project plans
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Capable of critical thinking and problem-solving
Strong work ethic with effective time management
Physically and mentally fit for the role
Ability to identify and address safety hazards
Team player with leadership potential
OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
