    The Center for Vision Development is the longest-established vision therapy practice in Austin, founded in 2004. We work with children and adults, including individuals with special needs such as autism and brain injuries.

    What You'll Do

    This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare administration, patient care, and clinical operations. Responsibilities may include:

    Meaningful, hands-on healthcare experience that will strengthen your resume and professional skills

    Learn professional communication skills while interacting with children, families, and healthcare team members

    Assist with patient scheduling, phone calls, texts, and front desk operations

    Prepare patient materials, logs, binders, birthday cards, and recognition items

    Scan, file, and organize medical records and patient documents

    Organize, clean, and restock therapy rooms, equipment, and supplies

    Support inventory management, office projects, and administrative initiatives that help create an exceptional patient experience

    Schedule

    Part-time position

    Flexible hours based on your school schedule and availability

    Ideally 15-30 hours per week

    Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-7:00pm, and Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm
