Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join our team! A High School Reading Teacher in Texas provides targeted instruction to improve students’ reading comprehension, fluency, and literacy skills, supporting both struggling readers and advanced learners. This role requires a valid Texas teaching certificate with the appropriate ELA/Reading endorsement.
A High School Mathematics Teacher in Texas provides rigorous, standards‑aligned instruction to help students master mathematical concepts, develop problem‑solving skills, and prepare for college, careers, and state assessments. This role requires a valid Texas teaching certificate with the appropriate Mathematics endorsement.
Responsibilities:
Help students understand new concepts
Assist students in preparing for tests and completing assignments
Teach problem-solving skills
Prepare lessons
Communicate with parents and teachers
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Teacher is preferred
High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, Teacher Certification HIGHLY Preferred
Patient, understanding, and reliable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to pass a background check
Education/Certification
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college is preferred.
Must be able to create lesson plans
Provides high-quality instruction to individual students and classroom
Provides data to school teams and participates in decisions about student progress
Collaborates with teachers, administration, and families to help identify best practices for individual and small groups of students
Organizational skills and initiative for working with minimal direct supervision.
