Springfield is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals in the field of Early Childhood Education that are bright, and caring individuals who are present with the children.

Responsibilities:

• Passion working with children aged 5 years (Kindergarten) or 3-5 years (Pre-K)
• Ability to interact with children, parents, and co-workers in a warm, empathetic, competent, and respectful manner
• Assist Lead Teacher and provide classroom support
• Assist in the after-school program creating and implementing activities
• Supervise and participate in playground activities
• Work collaboratively with other staff members
• Prepare classroom materials and plans while providing quality learning experiences for young children
• Is willing to follow a curriculum in line with the Montessori Philosophy
• Comfortable managing a classroom and leading children independently if needed
• Responsible for ensuring an education, caring, and safe environment for children

Requirements:

• 12+ Core ECE units required.
• Experience working with Kindergarten/Pre-K aged children is desired
• Montessori training desired but not required
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Fingerprint, TB clearance, and all Title 22 compliance requirements
• Must be reliable and committed
