The Goddard School of Prosper is seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Lead Pre-K 2 Teacher to join our team of early childhood professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of child development, a commitment to intentional teaching practices, and a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences for young children.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, child-centered curriculum aligned with our school philosophy and early learning standards
Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment that supports the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth of 2-year-old children
Establish clear classroom routines and expectations while maintaining flexibility to meet individual child needs
Observe, document, and assess student development using a variety of tools and methods
Communicate regularly and professionally with families regarding student progress and classroom updates
Collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff to ensure consistency, safety, and continuity of care
Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing and accreditation standards
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required
Minimum 2 years of lead teaching experience in a licensed early childhood setting
Strong understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and age-appropriate practices for two-year-olds
Ability to lead a classroom independently with confidence and professionalism
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practice
