Job Title: Pre-K Teacher (Ages 4–5) Location: Sakonnet Early Learning Center – Tiverton, RI Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Up to 40 Hours/Week

Sakonnet Early Learning Center seeks a nurturing and dynamic Pre-K Teacher to join our experienced early education team. This role is perfect for educators passionate about preparing children for kindergarten through hands-on, theme-based learning that sparks creativity, independence, and a love for school.

What You’ll Do:

Lead engaging, standards-aligned Pre-K curriculum focused on kindergarten readiness

Build foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills

Track and document developmental milestones using observation and assessment tools

Foster a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels seen and supported

Partner with families to promote learning both in and out of the classroom

Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure consistency and excellence

What We’re Looking For:

CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field)

Minimum of 2 years of Pre-K teaching experience in a licensed early childhood setting

Strong curriculum planning and classroom management skills

Knowledge of child development, kindergarten readiness benchmarks, and positive behavior support strategies

Warm, reliable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills

Must be 18+ and able to pass all background checks
