📍 Location: 10111 Grant Rd, Houston, TX 77070 💼 Position: Pre-K Teacher 🏫 Program: First Place Kids / Texas Rising Star 4-Star Center
We are seeking a loving, energetic, and experienced Pre-K Teacher to join our high-quality early childhood team. Our ideal candidate is creative, dependable, and passionate about preparing children for kindergarten through engaging learning and play.
Hours Available 6a-2p or 12p-6p
Responsibilities:
Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
Prepare children for kindergarten readiness in literacy, math, and social-emotional skills
Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe classroom
Establish positive communication with families
Support TRS and Licensing standards through quality classroom practices
Collaborate with team members and participate in trainings
Supervise children with active engagement and care
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a childcare or Pre-K setting
CDA, Associate’s in Early Childhood, or related qualifications preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Knowledge of curriculum planning and early childhood development
CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)
