    We are seeking a Pre-K Co-Lead Teacher for The Goddard School® located in Collegeville, PA (across from the Providence Town Center off the Collegeville/Phoenixville 422 exit!) We're looking for a passionate, experienced, and creative teacher to join our Pre-K classroom. In this role, you'll foster a nurturing and fun environment while delivering a play-based, ready-to-use but customizable curriculum—no late-night lesson planning required! You'll guide daily activities, support child development, assess progress, and collaborate with a warm, dedicated team of like-minded, committed educators!     Qualifications:

    High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred

    Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred

    2-4 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred

    Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members

    Desire to work collaboratively with others (team player)

    Enjoys working with positive, like-minded people who are passionate about education

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

    Lead Teacher Qualifications

    Curriculum & Instruction:

    Create and implement flexible, age-appropriate lesson plans using Goddard’s curriculum, along with individually designed age-appropriate lessons preparing children for Kindergarten.

    Inspire a love of learning through hands-on, engaging activities that incorporate both academic learning along with social and emotional development.

    Observe and assess student development, adapting lessons using real-time data.

    Classroom Management:

    Build a safe, welcoming, and child-centered classroom environment.

    Manage daily routines smoothly and use positive guidance for behavior.

    Family Communication:

    Keep families informed through daily updates (written and verbal) and bi-annual conferences.

    Foster strong parent partnerships and encourage involvement.

    Health & Safety:

    Maintain a clean, safe learning space; follow all safety protocols.

    Supervise children at all times—indoors and outdoors.

    Professional Growth:

    Engage in ongoing training and stay current on best practices.

    Collaborate with teammates to support a strong school community.
