Our firm is searching for a seasoned plaintiffs Personal Injury paralegal to join an attorney unit in the River Edge, NJ office. The candidate must also possess knowledge and experience with:

Negotiations, Billing, Adjustors, Escrow, Fee Scheduling, and Settlement Distribution Sheets.

The Prelitigation Biller will assist in negotiating liens, including health insurance liens, hospital liens, private medical provider liens, etc. They will also be responsible for finalizing the case and providing clients with the best recovery possible and exhibit a high level of efficiency and proficiency. The right candidate must have at least 4 years of knowledge and understanding of fee scheduling, billing, negotiations, and personal injury.

Must:

• Regularly keeping clients informed and or working closely with paralegal assigned to case
• Providing status updates to providers
• Obtaining final medical balances at settlement
• Assemble, organize, and itemize client medical bills
• Communicate with Medical and Medicare

Qualifications:

• Maintain professional demeanor on the phone and in all business communications
• Ability to meet deadlines and quotas
• Ability to multitask
• Work both independently and as a member of the team

This is full time role in the River Edge, NJ office Monday through Friday 8:30am -5:00pm.
