This position is full-time; hours are 8:30 - 5:30, Monday through Friday. 401(k) offered after one year of employment. Generous PTO package available after a 90-day probationary period. Responsibilities: Pre-Litigation Paralegal duties include: • Must have prior law firm experience in order to apply to this role. Inkelaar Law Firm is seeking a pre-litigation paralegal to work in Personal Injury, specifically auto accident cases, in its Tampa Office. • Spanish preferred, but NOT required. • This person will be detail-oriented, very organized, and have the ability to multitask efficiently, quickly, and effectively. • This person will perform tasks such as drafting and sending letters of representation, collecting and reviewing medical records and bills, contacting clients, insurance companies, and adjusters, organizing files for demand preparation, drafting settlement demands, and verifying balances, reductions, and liens. • This person will work closely with other paralegals and attorneys to handle cases in a timely manner. • Knowledge of Adobe Pro DC, MyCase, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred but not required. • This person must have the ability to work under strict deadlines. Salary is based on experience. Qualifications: • Law firm experience required 3-5 years. • Spanish fluency preferred. • Associate's Degree required. • Bachelor's, preferred: Political Science, Criminal Law. • Strong verbal communication. • Team Player. Compensation: $26 - $28 hourly
