Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough investigations including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses and reviewing medical records. • Communicate with clients to **** build trust, collecting essential case details, providing timely updates, and ensuring a compassionate, responsive experience. • Draft compelling and strategic demand packages that reflect the full scope of client damages, and engage in skillful negotiations with insurance carriers to achieve favorable settlements. • Collaborate cross-functionally with the case team to ensure cases progress smoothly and efficiently. • Stay ahead of evolving laws and trends in Texas personal injury practice through continuous legal education and research, applying insights to improve outcomes and innovate case strategy. • Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and other pre-litigation negotiations to advocate for clients and resolve disputes effectively. • Maintain meticulous and organized case documentation, ensuring all files are accurate, current, and in compliance with firm protocols and legal standards. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar. • 2+ years of experience handling personal injury matters, preferably in a pre-litigation role. • Proven negotiation skills with a strong track record of securing favorable settlements for clients. • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex legal issues in a clear, client-friendly manner. • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a dynamic caseload without sacrificing quality. • Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborative team player who thrives in a mission-driven, client-centered culture. • Proficiency in legal research and drafting using modern legal tools and technology.
