Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough investigations by gathering critical evidence, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing medical records to build strong, well-supported cases. • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients - gather essential details, provide regular updates, and ensure a compassionate, responsive experience throughout their legal journey. • Craft persuasive, strategic demand packages that fully capture the scope of client damages, and negotiate assertively with insurance carriers to secure optimal settlements. • Work closely case team and other departments to ensure seamless case progression and a 5-star client experience. • Stay informed on developments in Texas personal injury law and litigation trends, applying insights to refine case strategies and improve outcomes. • Represent clients in mediations, settlement conferences, and other negotiations, using your advocacy skills to resolve matters efficiently and favorably. • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date case files in compliance with firm procedures and legal standards. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Licensed to practice in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar. • 2+ years of experience in personal injury law, with a strong preference for pre-litigation experience. • Demonstrated negotiation expertise and a proven record of achieving favorable settlements. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts in a client-focused, approachable manner. • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a dynamic caseload without sacrificing quality. • Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborative team player who thrives in a mission-driven, client-centered culture. • Proficiency in legal research and drafting using modern legal tools and technology.
