Seeking to right person to join our team! The pre operative screening nurse will be responsible for preforming patient pre-operative assessments for a busy Endoscopy ASC. The employee will be responsible to work collaboratively with team members and the patient to ensure the patient meets the guidelines to move forward with procedure. Employee will be responsible for reviewing medical records, conducting patient interviews, completing pre screening documentation and communicating with anesthesiologist. Employee must have:

• ability to understand pre operative patient preparation guidelines
• demonstrate ability to retrieve pertinent patient information from medical records
• strong interpersonal skill to communicate effectively with patient, team members, and all colleagues/individuals involved in care of patient
• ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively
• ability to meet deadlines and shift priorities and
• critical thinking skills
• computer skills
• State of CT nursing license
