Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, with experience in various surgical settings.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Admission and Pre-Operative Assessment
Patient Monitoring after anesthesia
Patient Education of preoperative and post operative care
Medication Administration
Collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the surgical team
Emergency Response to any complications or emergencies
Documentation to maintain accurate and detailed records
Participation in Regulatory Compliance and safety protocols
Qualifications
Licensure: Current RN license in Colorado
Experience
Previous experience in a pre-operative environment, recovery room, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), or critical care setting is required. OR experience a plus
Complete perioperative experience preferred.
Certifications
BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) current or within 1 year
Working Hours
This position requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week (one OR day per week (Wednesday) and up to 1/2 additional day (for preop preparation) one or two days before surgery day
