    SHEFitPT is the premier pre/postnatal pelvic floor PT clinic in San Diego. As a hybrid cash practice, we strive to offer the highest quality of personalized care to our clients through one-on-one appointments with experienced pelvic floor therapists specializing in pregnancy, female pelvic health, and women's wellness.

Our ideal candidate is a compassionate, energetic, experienced prenatal/postpartum pelvic floor physical therapist with a strong work ethic, commitment to patients, and desire to grow with the company.     At SHEFitPT, we believe in providing the highest quality of care and customer service to clients with prenatal, postnatal, pelvic floor, and orthopedic conditions. We see about 80% pre/postnatal clients as well as other pelvic health conditions throughout the lifespan, and any orthopedic complaints that may accompany them. We treat the WHOLE person - not just one assigned body part! We are passionate about helping women to have painfree, fit pregnancies, strong recoveries after birth, and smooth return to ALL their fitness and lifestyle activities - including high intensity training and heavy lifting!

    As a hybrid cash clinic (we accept Tricare ony), we are committed to providing excellent service based on high levels of training and experience. Our ideal candidate has completed intermediate level coursework in prenatal/postnatal and pelvic floor assessment and treatment, and feels 100% confident treating diastasis recti abdominis, prolapse, incontinence, tailbone pain, dyspareunia, pregnancy related pelvic girdle/low back pain, and guiding clients to return to higher level fitness activities like weightlifting and running. They must be excellent at determining patients' needs, and possess extraordinary communication skills to motivate women in achieving their goals. Since we also have a strong contingent of pelvic pain clients, comfort with complex or chronic pelvic pain including endometriosis is preferred.

    Requirements:

    2+ years of experience with pregnancy/ female pelvic floor and 2+ years of experience with general outpatient orthopedics (time may overlap).

    Levels 1&2 of Herman Wallace/APTA Pelvic Floor coursework or equivalent (must include both vaginal and rectal hands-on training)

    Candidates must feel ready to jump into an existing full caseload with high expectations for expert quality care, and must be comfortable utilizing a mix of active and manual therapy techniques.

    Preferred Qulaifications:

    Pre and postnatal coursework, pre/postnatal athleticism training, familiarity with current diastasis recti management strategies.

    Confidence with birth preparation guidance, education, and intervention

    Experience in a cash wellness space (physical therapy, massage, fitness, or other wellness space)

    This position could be part or full time for the right candidate, but the ideal candidate will be open to growing into a full time position. Hours at multiple locations around San Diego may be required, and some Saturday hours may be required. Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
