    About Us Minto's Casa Novi(DBA Novi Northville Montessori) is a nurturing and vibrant Montessori dedicated to fostering a love of learning in young children. Our school provides a supportive environment where children thrive through hands-on, individualized learning experiences. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Qualified Pre-School Teacher to join our team.

    Job Summary

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Montessori-trained teacher to guide our pre-school students (ages 2 1/2 - 6 Yrs) in a prepared Montessori environment. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of learning, promote independence, and create a warm, inclusive classroom community.

    Responsibilities

    Plan and implement Montessori curriculum for pre-school-aged children, fostering intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

    Prepare and maintain an organized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.

    Observe and assess each child’s progress, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs.

    Foster independence, self-discipline, and respect in students through Montessori principles.

    Collaborate with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and development.

    Work closely with colleagues to support school-wide goals and initiatives.

    Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.

    Participate in professional development and school events.

    Qualifications

    Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, or equivalent) for the pre-school level (ages 3-6).

    Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (preferred).

    Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Montessori or early childhood education setting (preferred). With minimum of 2 years(preferred) as lead teacher.

    Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.

    Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

    CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

    Background check and fingerprinting required.
