About the Role:

Join Kiddie Round-Up Inc as a PreK 3 Teacher Assistant and play a vital role in nurturing young minds! We are looking for a passionate individual to support our dynamic teaching team in creating a fun and engaging learning environment. These jobs are located at 2 Harmony Public School Campuses: Harmony Science Academy; 930 E Rundberg Ln, Austin, TX 78753 and Harmony School of Innovation; 2100 E St Elmo Rd Suite A, Austin, TX 78744. This is a PreK partnership between and Early Childhood Learning Center and a Public School District.

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.

Supervise and engage with children during playtime and group activities.

Support classroom management and maintain a safe learning environment.

Help with the preparation of educational materials and resources.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Foster positive relationships with children to encourage their social and emotional development.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including record keeping and organization.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, CDA; or degree in early childhood education preferred.

Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching young children.

First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.

Background check clearance required.

Flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the classroom.
