Precast Drafter

Minneapolis, MN - Remote | Direct or Contract Hire| 26.00 - 38.00/hr

Do you have 2+ years of experience creating precast drawings for commercial building projects?

Our client, a Structural Consulting Engineering firm located in the Twin Cities, has an immediate need for an experienced Precast Drafter to join their team. With oversight from a Senior Drafter or Engineer, you will produce detailed precast CAD drawings using Revit and Edge.

* This is a remote work opportunity with the expectation of working 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Precast Drafter Responsibilities:

• Produce precast drawings for all phases of a project from concept to completion.
• Produce production and erection drawings, including shop drawings from architectural and structural drawings
• Will work alongside a Structural Engineer on precast drawings for commercial building projects
• Coordination with customers throughout projects

Precast Drafter Requirements:

• Associate's Degree, Architectural or Engineering Technology required
• 2+ years of precast concrete drafting experience is required.
• Proficiency in Revit, Edge is preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to work independently on projects
• Must be available to be on-site for in-person training
