    Precise Systems is a professional services company currently working for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force. Our core competencies include systems engineering, program and project management, logistics, information technology and cybersecurity, and software development services. We were founded in 1990, and since our establishment, we have been providing cutting edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.

     

    We are currently seeking a Contracts Analyst to support our Washington, DC customer. The Contracts Analyst will provide contract management support for NAVSEA equipment and engineering procurement contracts as well as funds allocated to Navy Labs.

     

    • Use knowledge of Navy hardware and engineering services procurements to budget, plan, and execute subject contracts;allocate funds; manage CLINS/SLINS; and track contractor expenditures relative to POP dates and appropriation end dates.
    • Develop J&A and other documents to support seamless contract management.
    • Assist with the contracts and procurement process including putting together procurement packages including reviewing and
    • editing Sections B through J, tracking required procurement actions, developing Procurement Requests and performing contract closeouts.

     

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Navy hardware and engineering services procurements.
    • Knowledge of contract types including CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, FFP, T&M and BAA.
    • Experience in SPS, ERP Contract and Acquisition Management
    • Knowledge of FAR and DFAR.
    • Proficiency using MS Excel and other MS Office products (Word, Power Point).

    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree.

    Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.

     

    SKILLS: Outstanding verbal and written communications skills. Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings. Ability to be able to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions. Ability to be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in a backpack or messenger bag in order to carry a lap top, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
