JOB SUMMARY
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
To perform various functions, that ensures the proper and timely processing of payables and cash disbursements. Tasks performed will include various segments of the accounting system in accordance with proscribed procedures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 3-way Matching of POs
- Data entry
- Weekly check runs including wire transfers.
- Manage emails.
- Bank Reconciliation
- Month-end closing
- Accruals
- Vendor Maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel specifically) as well as accounting software.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields.
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Deadline and detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with internal and external customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Prior exposure to Microsoft Systems
- Some knowledge of accounting and accounts payable
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Detailed oriented
- Good communication and customer service skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years Accounts Payables is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred but not required.
Salary Range: $24-$25/hr
