    We are currently seeking an IDIQ Deputy Program Manager for the F-35 Joint Program Office located  in Arlington, Virginia. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON SUCCESSFUL CONTRACT AWARD. The incumbent will work with the Program Manager to plan, execute, and close projects on schedule and within budget. They will provide day-to-day operational oversight and strategic guidance to program and subcontracting staff. The incumbent will be responsible for status reports, program reviews, and other routine communications related to program performance. They will ensure project procedures and controls are followed, manage manning and staffing project efforts, and lead problem resolution efforts. They will interface with contractors, vendors, and Government representatives on technical aspects of the program.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO -

    • Applies project principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapon systems
    • Applies project experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management
    • Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates automated data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapon systems, associated support systems, or management information systems
    • As the project manager for the contracted effort, ensure project procedures and controls are followed, manage manning and staffing project efforts, and lead problem resolution efforts
    • Interfaces with system or program Contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of the programs/projects

     

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - 

    • PMP or DAWIA III certification
    • Experience in engineering management and supervision of a project in systems engineering or the design of or field service of naval command and control, communication systems
    • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience dealing with DoD reporting tools and major reports

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION - Degree in Engineering or related discipline

     

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
